We kindly ask that everyone joins in by embracing a shared spirit of immersion. We absolutely encourage and celebrate the presence of unique, unconventional characters—whether you want to play a gallant knight, humble beggar, savage barbarian, sewer troll or any other imaginative role—you needn't take your anything too seriously. However, we do ask that you commit to portraying a character or even an alternate version of yourself for the sake of the experience. To join the server, please submit your character through the Character Card ticket in the designated section of our Discord.
1. No racism, sexism, homophobia or any form of harassment against other players based on protected attributes or identity.
2. Try to keep everything on the server PG13. No inappropriate or sexually explicit content allowed on the server.
3. No hacking, X-Raying, etc, allowed whatsoever
4. No mass griefing of the server, griefing should only be done for roleplay purposes especially in times of war.
5. No toxic behavior, remember this is supposed to be fun. Try to make sure everyone is having a good time on the server.
In general, everything that you do in the server should be in service of creating a shared narrative within the world and between other players. Every choice you make should have a role play reason, meant to further your own story and those around you. A great saying to remember when playing is always to maintain the “suspension of disbelief”, which is defined as "the act of temporarily avoiding logic and critical thinking to believe something that is impossible or unreal, so that one can enjoy a narrative”. In every great story, you suspend everything you once knew about the real world to be immersed in the narrative. Everyone who plays is expected to maintain their “suspension of disbelief” to help carry the immersion of the world. Here are some rules to help with roleplay…
1. Be in character at all times
2. Your Minecraft skin must match the world setting (ex: no pixel art skins, no E-boy skins). Your minecraft skin should mesh with the fantasy setting and be somewhat humanoid.
3. No meta gaming, you should only use information that you have learned while playing on the server.
4. No RDM or excessively killing other players. Any violent action should have some roleplay reason. All violent interactions on the server should start with at least some form of verbal interaction. (This is to avoid people just running around killing people with no RP) (Exceptions: Assassinations and Bounties)
5. Please value your character's life. We know that when you die you will always respawn. But each time you respawn, you should treat dangerous or grave situations with the same gravity as you would in real life.
6. No combat logging.
7. This is not a rule but a general guideline. Players should care about their kingdom, possessions, relationships, and their life but try not to have a constant “win” Mentality. Sometimes a loss leads to great or funny RP. Always go for good scenes over wins.
8. Related to rule number 7, no powergaming or finding exploits to give you advantages over other players that may be unfair or are unrealistic to the setting of the world. Players will be rewarded for reporting exploits.
We would like to keep our server clean. We ask you kindly to use reason and logic when building or interacting with the world so that there is nothing immersion breaking that other players may come across.
Please help the staff team who worked very hard to create this by preserving the natural environment as best you can without indiscriminately cluttering the server with unnecessary builds or thoughtless destruction.
1. All builds must match the medieval/fantasy setting of the world.
2. No sky bases allowed.
3. Underground bases/cities are allowed but must have clear and visible entrances. For example, a dwarven kingdom with a large stone arch/gate into the city below. Do not dig an underground base and put a simple door as your entrance. Entrances should match the scale of your build. In general underground bases are not encouraged unless you have an idea for a creative build or a roleplay reason to make an underground base.
4. You are allowed to make traveling camps or temporary bases but please take down the build when you are done and leave no trace.
5. No large scale griefing of unclaimed land is allowed (Exceptions below).
A. Unclaimed bases may be broken into and chests looted if there is no clear entrance. However, please do not unreasonably grief unclaimed builds.
B. Clearing of inactive player builds for aesthetic or roleplay purposes if the build has been left up unclaimed for two weeks. Please submit a ticket letting us know if you are choosing to destroy a large player build like a castle, or city.
6. When gathering wood, please try to leave no floating blocks or trees as this ruins immersion. There are very large trees on the map, so please try to gather resources in a way that makes logical sense.
7. Do not build and then leave one block towers on the surface level of the world.
8. No majorly irritating builds such as pointless water/lava falls, or anything that is overtly aesthetically displeasing (really just use common sense).
9. Redstone is allowed but no automation of any kind with the use of redstone.
A. Doors, gates, and other redstone mechanisms are allowed but there must be a clearly visible switch, button, or pressure plate.
10. No mob or XP farms.
Andddd thats all we got for now folks! Some of these rules may be added to, ammended, or removed entirely over time, we'll let you know when and if that happens.
